According to POPIA, “personal information” means information relating to an identifiable, living, natural person and, where applicable, an identifiable, existing juristic person.

2.5 Access to, correction or deletion of your personal information

Every person (Data Subject) has the right to access their own personal information held by Us and to ensure that the information is correct, up to date and accurate. Each Data Subject is responsible for keeping their personal information up to date and accurate. Please note, depending on the nature of the personal information, We may not always be able to delete your personal information as requested. In all cases, We will treat requests to access personal information or change to personal information in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Data Subjects who would like to request access to their information, update their details, or unsubscribe from communications should contact Our Information Officer by using the contact information below. Whereafter the Information Officer shall provide the Data Subject with the correct form as contained in the PAIA Manual for the Data Subjects completion.

The Promotion of Access to Information Act, No 2 of 2000 (PAIA), requires all public and private bodies in South Africa to have a PAIA Manual in accordance with the provisions of section 14 (public bodies) or 51 (private bodies). Essentially, the PAIA Manual explains how people can access the records held by the body.

The Company’s PAIA Manual (“Manual”) can be found on the Company’s Website, or a copy can be requested from the Company‘s Information Officer. The Manual sets out the process for requesting personal information, any costs that will be charged, what personal information is available, copies of the forms to be completed and much more.

We understand the importance of protecting children’s privacy in the interactive online world. This Website is not designed for or intentionally targeted at children 18 years of age or younger. It is not Our policy to intentionally collect or maintain personal information about anyone under the age of 18 years.
