Protexin is a multi-strain probiotic powder which helps to ensure a beneficial balance of digestive tract microorganisms in animals.
Composition. Protexin® Soluble contains live heat – and acid – resistant natural organisms found in the intestines of healthy animals. Bacteria: Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp, bulgaricus, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Bifidobacterium bifidum, Streptococcus salivarius subsp, thermophilus, Enterococcus faecium. Total Viable Count not less than 2 x 108 cfu (colony forming units) / gram.
Note for diabetic patients: Protexin® Soluble contains dextrose (glucose).

Add and mix into milk, milk replacer or water, or simply sprinkle over the animal’s food.
Piglets/Weaners: 2g Protexin Soluble per day for 5 days
Horses:
Foals/ponies: 5g Protexin Soluble per day.
Adult horse: 10g Protexin Soluble per day
Cattle:
Calves: 2g Protexin Soluble per day for 3 days and 1g Protexin Soluble per day after thereafter.
Weaned calves and adult cattle: 4g Protexin Soluble per day
Lambs: 1g Protexin Soluble per day
