Terms and Conditions: Kyron Agri Lucky Draw Competition

Please read these terms and conditions (“Terms”) carefully. By entering the Kyron Agri Lucky Draw Competition (“Competition”) hosted by Kyron Animal Health (Pty) Ltd (“Kyron”), you acknowledge and accept the Terms in full. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not enter the Competition.

Participation in the Competition implies that you have the legal capacity to enter and agree to be bound by these Terms. Any entries that do not comply with the Terms will be deemed invalid.

These Terms include clauses that limit Kyron’s and its partners’ liability, and you agree that your rights and remedies may be limited accordingly. Kyron and third-party partners cannot be held responsible for any loss, harm, or damages arising from your participation in the Competition.

1. Eligibility

• The Competition is open only to South African citizens or legal residents aged 18 or older, who hold a valid South African ID or passport and a valid South African driver’s license.
• Entrants must be located in South Africa at the time of entry, verification, and prize delivery.
• The Competition is not open to employees, directors, agents, consultants, suppliers, distributors, or immediate family members of Kyron, its subsidiaries, retail partners, or advertising agencies.

2. Entry Requirements

• Entry is exclusive to customers who purchase qualifying Kyron products as advertised.
• To enter, participants must scan the designated Competition QR code (standard data charges apply) and follow the prompts.
• Entrants must use a RICA-compliant mobile number registered in their own name. Use of another person’s number may lead to disqualification at Kyron’s discretion.
• Customers may enter multiple times. Each qualifying product purchased during the promotional period allows for one valid entry.
• Proof of purchase must be retained and may be requested to verify an entry. Failure to provide valid proof will result in disqualification.

3. Competition Period

• The Competition ends at 23:59 SAST on 31 August 2025.
• The winners will be selected via random draw and announced by 30 September 2025.
• Late entries will not be considered.

4. Prizes

Each selected winner may choose one of the following prizes:

1. Lamb Master valued at R27,000 (estimated prize value, inclusive of VAT)
2. S3 Indicator Set (TruTest MP600 scale, Loadbars, and TruTest App) valued at R34,000 (estimated prize value, inclusive of VAT)
3. XRS2i Stick Reader with 50 EID sheep or cattle FDX Eartags valued at R34,500 (estimated prize value, inclusive of VAT)

• A total of five (5) prizes will be awarded.
• Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable for cash, or substitutable for any other goods or services.
• Kyron will coordinate prize delivery with each winner.
• Winners will be required to sign an indemnity form upon delivery of the prize.

5. Winner Notification and Delivery

• Winners will be contacted telephonically and via email using the contact details provided at entry.
• If a winner cannot be reached within 7 days, an alternate winner will be drawn.
• Kyron will announce the winners on its official Facebook pages.
• The winner’s details and selected prize will be shared with Datamars for warranty transfer.
• Upon delivery, all risks and responsibilities related to the prize transfer to the winner, including maintenance, insurance, or loss.

6. Warranty and Liability

• Kyron does not offer any warranties, express or implied, related to the prizes. Manufacturer warranties apply where available.
• In the event of a warranty transfer to Datamars, Kyron Agri (Pty) Ltd shall be held harmless and indemnified against any claims, losses, or liabilities arising from the product. Datamars assumes full responsibility.
• Kyron accepts no liability for incidents resulting from the Competition or prizes, including but not limited to defects, damages, accidents, theft, injury, or death.
• Any applicable taxes, levies, or additional costs incurred by accepting a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
• All three prizes holds a 12month warranty with Datamars.

7. Data Protection and Publicity

• By entering, participants consent to the collection and processing of personal information as defined under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
• Kyron and its subcontractors will handle personal data strictly in accordance with applicable laws and solely for purposes related to the Competition.
• Personal data will be retained only as long as legally necessary.
• Winners may be asked to consent to photographs or publicity for use on Kyron’s website, blogs, or social media platforms.

8. General Provisions

Kyron reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Competition or these Terms at any time for reasons deemed necessary.

Any attempt to manipulate or tamper with the Competition will result in disqualification and possible legal action.

Kyron reserves the right to disqualify any participant for breach of the Terms or conduct deemed dishonest or harmful.

Kyron is not responsible for delays, technical failures, or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond its control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, or regulatory actions).

Kyron’s decision on any aspect of the Competition is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
